About

I am an instructor in the Computer Animation & Game Development Program at California State University, Chico. I have the pleasure of interacting with a multitude of students in the Program and guiding them toward achieving their academic goals.

The courses I currently instruct are 3D Modeling, Game Asset Production, Digital Texturing, Interactive Storytelling in Video Games, and Advanced Animation Pre-Production, story as it relates to animation in the pre-production phase of the pipeline. I also mentor students in an advising capacity to lead them toward completing their academic goals successfully.

Students aspiring to do well in the CAGD Program must possess a passion for the animation and/or game industry, be willing to go above and beyond in developing their skills, and demonstrate a commitment to improving their abilities and continually garnering knowledge within their chosen area of study. Participating, collaborating, and time management are a substantial component of success in the major and of course, a passion for  learning and consistently improving your technique.
